The AIS Heavy Equipment Technical Institute, located at the AIS Construction Equipment Corporation's Lansing, Michigan Branch, is a private post-secondary school offering heavy equipment operator and technician training.

• AIS-HETI is licensed by the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs as a Post-Secondary Proprietary School (ID#8601000139)

• AIS-HETI is currently able to accept tuition payments through Michigan Works!, Michigan Rehabilitation Services and Local Native American Tribal Tuition Services.

• We do not currently work with the Federal Student Loan program. (FAFSA)

• AIS Heavy Equipment Technical Institute is accredited by the AED (Associated Equipment Distributors) .

• The Institute offers training in:

• Heavy Construction Equipment Operator and

• Heavy Construction Equipment Technician Program.

• The Institute’s Heavy Construction Equipment Operations program is recognized as an NCCER (National Center for Construction Education Research) Training Center and issues NCCER Certifications of Completion in heavy equipment machine operation.

• Students completing the Certificate of Completion program in Heavy Construction Equipment Technology (HCET) program will take the AED (Associated Equipment Distributors) Technician Certification Test.
